During summer and fall, the experience includes walking down a wooded trail to the lake with uneven ground, which is not wheelchair accessible.

We will do our best to offer additional assistance when possible.

  • Before playing with the pups, all guests must step through a shoe disinfectant station and sanitize their hands. This simple step helps protect the health of the dogs at Camp Goldie, and the future puppies being raised by our breeder Ruff Life Goldens.

A Brit and a Breeder

Back in 2021, Patrick was looking to take his golden retriever-obsessed girlfriend somewhere to cheer her up.

He began reaching out to local breeders, hoping one of them might let them come and meet their dogs. One responded with a yes - Susan from Ruff Life Goldens.

They spent over an hour meeting her wonderful pups, and the three of them instantly hit it off. They even discussed what it would be like to create an interactive golden retriever events. The timing wasn’t right back then, but the seed was planted.

Fast-forward to 2025, and it felt like the universe was telling them the timing was right. At the end of July, they officially launched Camp Goldie — blending their story, their friendship, and their shared love for golden retrievers.
